MOLE MAPPING

Your skin health is always a priority - not just your results.

That’s why I’m proud to offer Map My Mole, a trusted mole mapping and skin monitoring service for anyone wanting to keep a close eye on changes to their skin.

As a MASCED-accredited practitioner, I’ve been trained to identify signs that may indicate skin cancer or other skin abnormalities, so you can take action early, when it matters most.

What is Mole Mapping?

Mole mapping is a non-invasive skin monitoring service that involves taking high-resolution photographs of moles or pigmented lesions on your skin.

These images are then reviewed by UK consultant dermatologists, who assess for signs of concern or early changes associated with skin cancer, such as melanoma.

The goal is early detection and proactive monitoring, giving you peace of mind and a clear plan if something needs further medical attention.

What to Expect with Map My Mole

01

Informed Consultation

Your appointment begins with a friendly, no-pressure consultation where we’ll chat about any moles or skin changes you're concerned about. I’ll explain the process, answer your questions, and ensure you're comfortable before we begin.

02

Image Capture

Next, I’ll take clear, clinical photographs of the mole(s) or areas of concern. These high-quality images are securely uploaded to be reviewed by experienced consultant dermatologists.

03

Clinical Assessment

Within a few days, you’ll receive a professional report from a dermatologist. This will either offer reassurance or recommend medical follow-up, such as seeing your GP or a specialist for further evaluation.

04

Ongoing
Support

If any further steps are advised, I’m here to support you with clear guidance and compassionate care, helping you feel informed, and never alone in the process.

Why Choose a MASCED Accredited Practitioner?

MASCED (Melanoma and Skin Cancer Early Detection) is a national training programme developed by skin cancer specialists.

As a MASCED-accredited professional, I’ve been trained to spot early warning signs of melanoma and non-melanoma skin cancers, and to recognise when it’s time to refer clients to medical professionals.

This means you're in safe hands, with someone who knows when to reassure and when to refer.

If you’ve got three or more moles you’d like checking, I personally recommend booking a private full-body mole check at Sulis Hospital in Bath with Dr Dominic Ayres. He’s incredibly thorough and specialises in skin health, so you’ll get complete peace of mind knowing every mole has been properly assessed.

WHAT CLIENTS SAY

“Whilst receiving laser treatment Emily highlighted a mole on my thigh. She suggested that I should contact my GP to have it looked at based on it's unusual shape and colouring. She was extremely knowledgeable and explained the pigmentation which I had never noticed before based on it's awkward location.

Emily's knowledge and support pushed me to contact my GP without feeling like I was being dramatic or a pain. On the back of Emily's advice it led to a GP appointment, hospital referral and eventual removal. It is relieving to have had it removed and the biopsy results.

I will definitely use Emily for Mole Mapping in the future, not only is she knowledgeable but she explains everything in a way you can understand and not panic.”
